Road-Rail vehicle DUOLINER FF is designed for driving and fire interventions on the road, as well as for driving and fire interventions on the national railway, regional and sidings. The road-rail system consists of two one-axle rail gears, where the power transmission is ensured hydrostatically by a pump and hydraulic motors when driving on the track. The vehicle is equipped with CCTV cam system for safe reversing and colour LCD display in driver’s cab, railway lights and as well as lights for work at night. All operations on rails are controlled electrically from the driver’s cab, rail gear functions are automated and monitored, and displayed on board computer. The fire superstructure is made of aluminium and closed at the sides with 7 blinds. The total number of seats in the vehicle is 8. Each seat is equipped with a Dragoer breathing apparatus. The fire equipment includes an infrared camera system (17” display located in the cab near the driver’s reach), gas detection system, temperature sensors, self-extinguishing system, etc. The vehicle is also equipped with various types of fire and rescue equipment, two light poles with an output of 10,000 lumens.
