Road-Rail rescue vehicle UNIROLLER-S 4X4 is an emergency rescue vehicle designed to drive on road and on rails. The base vehicle is equipped with double cab with 6 seats (1+5) and box body superstructure for rescue and re-railing equipment. All boxes are equipped with aluminium roller shutters and high loading capacity pull-out shelves inside. Tilting footrests are mounted for easier access to the shelves. The box is equipped with interior lights for better visibility while using the tools, as well as with powerful lights for work at night. The rail gear is quickly adjustable for railway gauge of 1435 mm and 1520 mm. The vehicle is equipped with working hydraulic circuit to drive the hydraulic rescue and re-railing tools. Power transmission on rails is effected by means of road tyres via drums. This drive system provides Road-Rail vehicle without contact of the tyres with the rails (undemanding solution) at a reasonable price. The vehicle is equipped with CCTV cam system for reverse ride, and with railway lights. All operations on rails are controlled electrically from the driver´s cab or along the vehicle sides. Reversible gearbox enables constant forward and reverse speed on rails.
