RENAULT 2NP is a special road vehicle equipped with scissor-type elevating working platform and a tools space below.  It is designed for ride and operation on road and hard surfaces as wells as for work at heights within reach of the platform. Blocking of rear axle suspension enables vehicle stability during the working platform operation. The scissor-type elevating platform is designed for repairs and other maintenance and installation work on objects within the working area of the platform. It is used mainly for work on catenary lines. The vehicle can be used for all repair operations with the platform in raised position (lights repairs, maintenance and surface treatment of steel frames, etc.). The scissor-type elevating platform 2NPi 500 enables full unlimited rotation around its axis. Vehicle is equipped with workroom and lockable compartments with side access, for transport and storage of materials and tools. The whole platform can be equipped with lights for nightwork. The platform is equipped with electro-drive for operations when the engine is stopped. The platform is controlled by means of remote control; emergency cable control can be used in case of failure. The vehicle can optionally be equipped with CCTV cam system, searchlights controlled from the driver’s cab, etc.
