RENAULT RPM is a special road vehicle equipped with elevating boom platform. The vehicle is designed for use and driving on road and hard level surfaces, as well as for work at heights, within reach of the working platform. Suspension locking of the rear axle ensures stability of the vehicle while using the working platform. The elevating boom platform is designed to carry out repairs, maintenance, and assembly works on objects situated in the working area of the platform. It is intended mainly for maintenance work on overhead line equipment. The vehicle can be used for all kinds of repairs at heights (lighting equipment maintenance as well as repairs and surface coating of steel structures, etc.). The working platform basket is electrically insulated. The boom-type elevating platform is driven hydraulically and controlled electrically. The platform movements are controlled by means of wireless RC panel. RPM movements can also be controlled by means of push buttons on the main control panel. The vehicle can be equipped with CCTV cam system, searchlights, controlled from the driver’s cab, and other equipment.
